The 27th UNAFF (United Nations Association Film Festival), which was founded in 1998 by Stanford educator and film critic Jasmina Bojic in conjunction with the 50th anniversary of the signing of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights. The 27th UNAFF will be held from October 17-27th in Palo Alto, East Palo Alto, San Francisco, and at Stanford University with the theme SHARED HUMANITY.

Each October the Pickford showcases Doctober—a month-long documentary film festival dedicated to one of Bellingham’s proven favorite genres. Doctober is the largest documentary festival in the Northwest, screening over 35 films in one month. For this festival the Pickford partners with local organizations to bring important issues to the screen; many presentations feature special guests, filmmakers, pre-screening receptions, and guided group discussions.

Crested Butte Film Festival (CBFF) is a community-based film festival for the people of the Gunnison Valley Region & everyone adventurous enough to make the journey. Founded in 2011, the festival brings the best new films of the year to Crested Butte at the peak of scenic aspen season. Champions of the Golden Valley is featured as the Opening Night film. It will be its Colorado premiere. Director Ben Sturgulewski and Producer Katie Stjernholm will be there in person.

The 33rd Woods Hole Film Festival will be held from Saturday, July 27 – Saturday, August 3, 2024 as both an in-person and virtual event.  The Woods Hole Film Festival is an eight day showcase of independent film featuring daily screenings, workshops, panel discussions, special events, master classes, parties, awards ceremony and more.  The Woods Hole Film Festival is the oldest independent film festival on Cape Cod and the Islands.
